If I were to choose one buzz word to describe Todays Real Estate climate..."WAITING".
From a sellers stand point the market is not favourable; they find themselves waiting, and hoping for that turnaround and uptick in value and buyers.
The buyer is in a great position, perhaps one of the most advantageous times relatively speaking. Yet, they may fear job loss, challenges with having a good down payment, or consider waiting until we hit "the bottom" so they get the best buy in.
The investor is good and ready and yet also waiting for the opportune time.
Human behaviour can be quite predictable and understandably so in such times leading to Decision Paralysis.
Here we are, irrespective of seller, buyer and investor all at a stand still. Perhaps one can take a different perspective and be led by the Season of Change.
Metaphorically, the Season of Change represents letting go, reflection, transformation, and preparation for renewal.
Take an honest look within, own your space and make a decision that will serve you well all around. What resisting thought can you let go of? Will it allow you freedom from the WAITING? Will it give you peace in making a decision exclusively based on your own needs and not the "MARKET"?
Ask yourself, how much is waiting actually costing you? and importantly what is it costing you that goes beyond monetary value?
